Solitude
€50.00
Original Acrylic Painting: 18 x 24cm
This collection consists of four pieces: Window to the Soul, Solitude, Merging and Red No. 01.
The pieces were inspired by a passage from Fernando Pessoa’s poem Tabacaria, which goes something like this: “I step away from the window and sit in a chair. What am I to think about? What do I know of what I shall be – I, who do not know what I am? To be what I think? But I think so many things!”
The whole collection is almost an illustration of this passage, with touches of my own thoughts, as I too “think so many things”.
